About Me
Hi there! I’m Saurav, a robotics, control systems, and deep learning enthusiast at Carnegie Mellon University. My adventure in this amazing field started at the Indian Institute of Technology Indore, India.
I’m involved in some really cool research in state estimation of cloth alongside Zachary Manchester and Zackory Erickson. Also, I’m a part of the Robotic Caregiving and Human Interaction Lab (RCHI) and the Robotic Exploration Lab (REXLab) at CMU. One project that’s close to my heart is robot-assisted feeding, aiming to help those with physical challenges through robotics.
In robotics, I’ve developed algorithms for path planning and trained deep learning models, focusing on creating versatile and efficient solutions. My experience extends to autonomous vehicle technologies, where I’ve crafted advanced control systems and explored various strategic control approaches.
I’m currently on the lookout for full-time roles in robotics software, excited to bring my ideas and skills to new and exciting challenges.
When I’m not tinkering with robots, I love staying active with powerlifting and playing soccer. It’s a great way to balance out the techy side of my life.
Check out my portfolio to see what I’ve been up to, both in my professional world and in my personal pursuits. I’m keen to connect and see how we can create awesome things in robotics together!
